Meet Your Dog Walkers

Mell Holgate

I moved to the UK approximately 5 years ago, I am a qualified Personal Trainer, and successfully ran my own business in sunny Australia for over seven years. After meeting my husband, selling my business and moving to Cambridge, I have worked in senior office-based roles in facility management and office management.

In 2020 I decided to retrain and follow a career that genuinely excites me... Dogs. I have always worked with dogs (privately owned) and have a strong affinity for all animals (just not snakes or spiders - another reason to leave Australia and head for new shores).

I am qualified in Canine First Aid, and I am currently studying a Level 3 - Diploma in Canine Care, Behaviour & Welfare.

I love the outdoors and am an active person with my hobbies being hiking, fitness, cycling and running, but mostly dogs.

Liv Davison

Liv is a professional, passionate, and positive dog walker with dog training experience. She is fully insured, DBS checked as well as having dog training qualifications with more courses and assessments upcoming.

Liv moved to Cambridge in 2017 to study animal behaviour at Anglia Ruskin University. She is absolutely obsessed with animals and has experience in both domestic and exotic animals and has always wanted to work with them.

She is an advocate for Positivity and Reinforcement Training and has a couple of dog training and behaviour certificates along with in the middle of getting my level 3 in the Principals of Dog Training and Behaviour from the Institute or Modern Dog Trainers. Liv has her own beautiful Cocker Spaniel named Shelby.

Kamilla Norrman

I am originally from Sweden, but have lived in Cambridge since 2005. Following 15 years working in an office environment I decided to swap the computer and desk for something more active and retrained as a caregiver. I worked with elderly people during the pandemic, providing care in their own home. It was thoroughly fulfilling, and I enjoyed being on the move and cycling between appointments. I was then given the opportunity to work at a mountain resort in Norway and have spent the past few months enjoying learning about the tourism industry, hotels and reception work in particular, and spending my spare time hiking in the mountains and swimming in icy cold water. It has been a real experience, but I missed my husband and decided to come back to Cambridge.

I have always loved dogs and have helped to look after dogs since childhood. The only reason I haven't got my own dog is due to all the travelling we have been doing and wish to continue with. Becoming a professional dog walker fits in nicely with my desire to have an active life and spend my time outdoors rather than in an office. I am a firm believer of the expression "there is no bad weather, only bad clothing". I am certified as a level 3 Canine First Aider.
